My name is Canaan, and I guide yoga classes! This is where you will find the details of my offerings, virtual or in-person!
It is my goal to bring yoga to you! I hope to make yoga accessible to anyone!
I primarily teach gentle styles of yoga (yin, yinyasa, restorative), which are all great for finding a sense of calm and relaxation, while introducing more movement to the body.
Yoga has TONS of health benefits, including (but never limited to) -
- Stress relief
- Relief of physical pain
- Build strength + balance
- Gain flexibility (not required to begin practicing!)
- Aids in sleep (relaxing the mind and body)
- Aids symptoms of anxiety + depression
- And so much more that you will learn on our journey together!
For virtual classes,
all you need is a yoga mat (or comfy floor), and a screen to connect with, via Zoom!
This can be done on the phone - (even if visibility is limited, hearing the cues should suffice!). Your camera can be on or off, and everyone will be muted at the start of class.
If you're new or just want extra comfort, bring a pillow to sit on,
and a blanket (folded, to use as padding for the knees or wrists)!
