Rooted in Renewal: Women's Nature Retreat

October 17–18, 2026 Ocoee, Tennessee

What to Expect

Nourishing Food + Community

Food is part of the retreat experience, not simply something we squeeze between activities. We'll share a relaxed charcuterie lunch, gather around the table for warm turkey chili Saturday evening, and enjoy a casual breakfast bar Sunday morning. Coffee, tea, and water will be available throughout the retreat, with dietary needs collected during booking so we can prepare accordingly.

Intentional Rest

Perhaps the most important part of the retreat is the space between the scheduled experiences. You'll have time to journal, read, nap, color explore the property, enjoy a cup of tea, have a conversation, or do absolutely nothing. Limited private tarot and massage appointments may also be available during these designated rest periods.

The Energy of the Weekend

Our retreat unfolds as the Moon grows from a waxing crescent toward the First Quarter in Capricorn, giving the weekend a beautiful symbolic theme of grounding, growth, intention, and purposeful action.

What to Bring

For overnight guests, we recommend bringing:

  • Comfortable clothing for changing weather
  • Walking shoes
  • Water bottle
  • Journal + pen
  • Personal toiletries
  • Warm layers
  • Flashlight/headlamp
  • Any personal medications or necessities
  • Camping equipment, if applicable
  • A blanket or cozy layer for evening fire time

Saturday, October 17

Guided Nature Walk

Step outside and slow down with a guided walk through the natural surroundings of Gypsy Haven. Bryson will introduce guests to seasonal plants and herbal traditions while encouraging a more mindful relationship with the land. This is an opportunity to learn, observe, breathe, and simply become more present in nature.

Tarot Workshop

Explore tarot as a tool for reflection, intuition, and personal insight in a welcoming, beginner-friendly workshop. We'll use the cards to help bring awareness to the themes and intentions you're carrying into the retreat. No previous tarot experience is needed—just curiosity and an open mind.

Free Time

Unstructured time is built into the retreat so you can rest, journal, wander, nap, connect, or simply be. Option to book private massage or tarot during rest times.

Return to Rest Yoga

Canaan will lead a gentle, restorative yoga practice designed to help you slow down, release physical tension, and settle into your body. This evening practice creates a natural bridge between the more reflective experiences of the afternoon and the deeper breathwork to come.

Hypnotic Breathwork

Stacey of Divine Remedy will guide the group through a 90-minute hypnotic breathwork experience. Through intentional breath and guided inner exploration, this immersive session offers an opportunity to turn inward, release what you're ready to release, and connect more deeply with yourself.

Build Your Own Ritual Tea + Fire Gathering

Create a personal herbal tea blend from a selection of herbs chosen for their traditional uses, sensory qualities, and ritual symbolism. Once your blend is complete, we'll bring our tea outside and gather around the fire. This is a slower, more intimate portion of the retreat—a chance to sip, talk, reflect, laugh, stargaze, or simply enjoy being together.

Sound Healing

Canaan will close the evening with a restorative sound healing experience. After a full day of movement, breath, conversation, and reflection, this experience offers space to become still, settle the nervous system, and simply receive.

Sunday, October 18

Rise with the Sun Yoga

Begin Sunday morning with gentle movement as the new day begins. Canaan's morning practice is designed to awaken the body without rushing it, helping you transition from overnight rest into a grounded and present morning.

Root & Shine Meditation

Bryson will guide a grounding meditation focused on reflection, integration, and intention. This is a chance to pause and consider what you've discovered during the retreat and what you want to continue nurturing when you return home.

Flower Crowns

Slow down and get creative with flowers and natural materials as you create your own wearable flower crown. This playful, hands-on experience offers a chance to connect with the beauty of the season, express yourself creatively, and enjoy some lighthearted community time before the retreat draws to a close.

Herbal Rolled Beeswax Candle Craft

Our final creative experience invites you to make your own rolled beeswax candle using herbs and personal intention. Working with natural beeswax and botanical elements, you'll create something beautiful and tangible to take home—a small reminder of the space you created for yourself during the weekend.
